As the Lead Product Designer, I designed EDPO, a training platform for emergency service officers. My work included developing user-friendly interfaces that supported interactive training modules. I focused on designing a clean, structured UI that simplified complex training data and allowed for easy navigation. Problem Statement

Problem Statement

Officers needed a more streamlined and intuitive platform to manage training schedules, track competencies, and access educational resources in real-time.

Approach

Approach

User Research with Emergency Services: Engaged with police and emergency service officers to map out their training journeys and identify bottlenecks in the existing system.

Design for Mobile-First Access: Focused on mobile usability since many officers access the platform while on the go.

Gamification of Training Progress: Incorporated gamification techniques to enhance engagement, such as badges and progress tracking.

Outcome: The platform saw a 25% increase in training completion rates and higher engagement from officers.
